About the Founder
My name is Jennifer Jelavich and I am the founder of EastBayPreschools.com.
Created in 2003, I am proud to say that EastBayPreschools.com was the first
online preschool directory in the Contra Costa and Tri Valley areas. When my
boys were babies and I was searching for preschools in Alamo, I could not find
preschool information on the internet. As the former Online Teaching Specialist
at San Francisco State University, I ran with the idea of creating preschool
websites and developing an advertising portal for them on the internet!
Nine years later and with over 170 preschools in our
directory, preschools definitely now have a presence on the
internet! |

EastBayPreschools.com is a simple, reliable and personalized service for both
parents and preschools. It is a safe place to compare preschools and child care
centers on an “apples to apples” basis Parents can be sure this information is
accurate and up-to-date. Preschools directors can be sure they can update
their information, post current openings or advertise job opportunities by just
sending me an email. It’s simple and easy!

John Knox Co-op Preschool has been with EastBayPreschools.com for several
years now and we are extremely happy with it. These days many parents are too
busy to call each school in their area. With EastBayPreschools.Com, a parent can
find what kinds of schools are in their area and even see pictures, learn their
philosophy and what the teacher ratio is, right from their home. When
