Cherub Child Care Center provides quality child care for
children, ranging from six weeks to five years of age.
We are a private, non-profit, licensed preschool and
infant center founded by the management and employees of
the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VA)
and the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, both of
Martinez, California. We are located on VA property,
near Kaiser Permanente. Our small size, and low ratio
insures a warm, personalized program.
Because the school is
located and supported by the VA, children of employees
at the the medical center receive priority in enrollment
and a discount in tuition rates. However, community
families have been important in supporting Cherub
through out the years, and their children are very
welcome.
OUR PHILOSOPHY AND
GOAL
At Cherub Child Care, each child is encouraged to
develop within his or her own capabilities and strive to
reach their individual potential. This in turn helps
them become aware of their role as integral members of a
group.
In short, our goal is
to provide a home like environment where children feel
welcome and loved while providing experiences in a
variety of activities which contribute to positive
self-esteem, growth, and development. |
