Creative Play Center is a co-operative preschool
and Pre-Kindergarten owned and operated physically and financially by
all currently enrolled member families. Our philosophy follows an ages
and stages play-based curriculum. Parents work in the classroom 3-4
times a month at stations: creative, blocks and pretend, curiosity (to
include our animal habitat), stegel (a unique indoor/outdoor gym),
outside, or snack. With their involvement, parents have an opportunity
to observe and participate in their child's development of social,
emotional, intellectual, and physical skills. Our main goal is the
development of a child's positive self-esteem while offering the
opportunity to explore the world in a safe environment. Your child will
participate in two daily circle times, put on plays, learn songs, make
friends, and have LOTS of FUN! |

Special Programs: |
Junior Kindergarten is for children, age-ready for Kindergarten, whose
families wish to give them the Gift of Time to ready and mature.
Join us for our teacher-led, drop-in Creative Playgroup held every 2nd
Saturday, 10am-Noon, for children 24-36 months and their adult
companions (nursing siblings welcome). Explore, make new friends, and
have fun! $5.00 per child. |

Creative Play Center has been inspiring children for over 60 years! Many parents who attended as children often enroll their own children at CPC. Our teachers have extensive background and training in Early Childhood Education. |
