TOT DROP’s Statement of Purpose:
To provide a recreation program for toddlers and preschoolers with flexible scheduling. We are Preschool by Appointment.

TOT DROP allows children to explore school in ways which are developmentally appropriate for each child as teachers facilitate parallel and cooperative play.

Children can choose to play independently or with other children (including their sibling) or with a teacher. Art projects are provided for children who show an interest in exploring the materials. Circle time songs and finger plays are conducted throughout the day for children who choose to join in.

Children are not required, but are gently guided, to participate in projects and circle time. All children’s efforts, at all developmental levels, are viewed as appropriate and are applauded.

We are proud that TOT DROP is a noisy, messy place!

TOT DROP works with children and parents to help them through separation and into independence. Parents are encouraged to stay with their child as they work toward successful separation. TOT DROP is not daycare so parents of children who cannot attend successfully will be asked to try again when the child is older. All efforts will be made to achieve success! Teachers and parents will design a schedule which best meets the specific child’s needs.
