The Martinez Early Childhood Center, Inc. is subsidized by the State Department of Education to serve low-income families with quality, full time child care and development. Parents must be working or in vocational training. Parents are subject to fees according to their income and number of family members. Enhancement services are available from Head Start for eligible families. The Martinez Early Childhood Center has been offering quality child care and development since 1974. We are concerned with meeting the needs of each individual child. Our program offers enriched developmentally appropriate curriculum to prepare children for Kindergarten. The program is accredited by the National Association of the Education of Young Children. Hours and Holidays

We work closely with the school district to provide special education if needed. A developmental screening is completed on each child minimally twice a year called Desired Results. The results are shared with the parent. Additional Information
