Room to Grow
is a program that provides children and adults with the space,
time and opportunities to grow and learn. Through involvement in
the Parent Participation Preschool parents can learn about child
development and early learning and can grow in their
relationship with their child. Children, with the support of
caring adults, learn through hands-on involvement and in-depth
exploration. Children develop knowledge and skills in the areas
of language, literacy, math and science as they carry out
in-depth projects.
The program at Room to Grow respects and supports children's
need and right to play as a critical way of exploring their
world and gaining knowledge. A strong foundation for social and
emotional development is provided along with support for
developing creativity and problem solving skills. |

accepting applications for enrollment and for waiting
list for September, 2008. If you are the parent of
a two or three year old, room to Grow offers a wonderful
first school experience. Older children will be
challenged by our rich environment and stimulating

The Parent Participation program at Room to Grow offers:
For Parents: a warm, welcoming, supportive environment, the
opportunity to spend quality time with their child and learn how
young children grow and learn with the guidance of master
teachers and a skilled parent educator.
For children: a warm, welcoming, safe, stimulating learning
environment with qualified, experienced, Master Teachers. Room
to Grow provides a strong foundation for social and emotional
development, a program that is based on accepted theories of
early learning and development and incorporates best practices.
The curriculum emerges from the interests of the children and
allows them to develop strong foundations in literacy, math,
language and science along with creativity and problem solving
skills. |
