Saklan
Valley
School is an
accredited, non-sectarian,
not-for-profit co-educational
day school educating students beginning in Pre-School
and running through 8th Grade. Located in
beautiful Moraga
Valley , we are the
only school of this type in Lamorinda, and one of only
two such schools in the East Bay East of the Caldecott
Tunnel.
Saklan is the only Pre-School
and
Pre-Kindergarten program in Lafayette, Moraga, or Orinda
to be located on the campus of a Kindergarten through
Eighth Grade school, and thereby is better able to offer
the premium resources such a campus provides, such as
larger playgrounds and facilities, a campus library, and
the specialist teachers of the elementary school in
foreign language, Physical Education, and Music. Saklan
Pre-Kindergarten students also have the advantage of
priority consideration for admission into Saklan’s
Kindergarten-8th grade selective independent
school program.
