City of Dublin's Emerald Glen Preschool and Shannon Preschool teaches developmentally appropriate curriculum using a thematic based curriculum with an academic component, which includes basic language and math skills, number, letter, shapes and colors recognition. Art, music, science and social studies are part of our everyday program. We have monthly enrichment music and physical activities to enhance our program. Here at

Holidays: We follow the City of Dublin's elementary school holiday schedule which recognizes Martin Luther King's birthday, President's Day, Good Friday, the week of Spring break, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving week, Christmas and the two weeks of winter break including New Year's Eve day and New Year's Day. |

Our school program
runs a traditional 9 months
beginning at the end of August continuing to June.
For the purpose of fee and tuitions, each school year is broken into three 90 day sessions. Fees and tuitions are paid per session. Once enrolled, students retain priority to
continue their current class enrollment for the entire school year.
3 and 4 Year Old -T, Th Program
Residents: $334 per session
Non-Residents: $401per session
3 and 4 Year Old - M, W, F Program
Residents: $499 per session
Non Residents: $599 per session
Jr. Kindergarten Program
Residents: $749 per session
Non-Residents: $899 per session
The City of Dublin’s preschool program
welcomes and encourages parent involvement! We are a co-operative
preschool and require parents to work in the classroom as follows;
Tuesday / Thursday students –
Parents are required to volunteer a
minimum of 2 times per session
Monday / Wednesday / Friday students –
Parents are required to volunteer a
minimum of 3 times per session
Jr. Kindergarten students –
Parents are required to volunteer a
minimum of 4 times per session
For the parents who are unable to work in
the classrooms any of the obligated number of days during the session,
non-participation fees will be charged accordingly.

Payment must be made in full in lieu of

We understand that schedules are
unpredictable…If parents are unable to provide 48 hour advance
cancellation notice of parent non-participation the following fees will
be assessed.

Information: | The City of Dublin has two preschool locations for your convenience.
Emerald Glen Preschool is located at 4201 Central Parkway in the Emerald Glen Park just off of Tassajara Road on the east side of Dublin. We enjoy our fully equipped preschool 2 room preschool (capacity of 180 students/8 different classes), right here in our beautiful 25 acre Emerald Glen Park.
Shannon Preschool is located at 11600 Shannon Avenue in the Shannon Community Center just off of San Ramon Valley Blvd on the west side of Dublin. We enjoy our brand new ultra modern 2 room preschool (capacity of 160 students/7 classes) in our ultra modern green Shannon Community Center
at our newly remodeled 10 acre Shannon park. |
