Description
Walnut Avenue Community Christian Preschool (W.A.C.C.P.) was established in 1976.  It is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a Christian environment in which the child can develop physically, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. The school is open to all children between 15 months and 6 years of age, regardless of race, nationality or religious creed. We provide a supportive atmosphere that fosters self-confidence and encourages initiative and self-reliance on the part of each child.  Each staff member is personally dedicated to preparing an environment that is conducive to this learning process.

All of our teachers are well educated, with an emphasis on Early Childhood. The average length of our teaching staff is 8 years.  To ensure quality programming that is age appropriate and consistent within each of the classrooms, we have a curriculum director that coordinates all lesson planning.

We strive to educate children to be creative, respectful, and confident individuals while fostering skills that will enable them to meet the demands of a complex world.  We strive to provide a climate for growth where children are encouraged and helped to understand their world through the full use of their senses, their feelings and their intellects.
