Special Programs
These special programs are also included in the monthly tuition.
Bright Learner: In our program, we use a system of ongoing assessment that answers your questions about your child’s development. Teaching Strategies GOLD® online helps us plan for each child and ensure that every child is making progress. It is based on 38 research-based objectives that include predictors of school success and are aligned with common core state standards, state early learning guidelines, and Head Start Child Development. Parents can also access this system to review documentation and messages from their child’s teacher.
Movement Matters Zone: Our center has a dedicated space that enhances the Movement Matters curriculum and is equipped with a balance beam, tumbling mats, hula hoops, ribbon dancers, scarves, balls, a tunnel, a yoga center and much more. Each classroom has a scheduled daily time to visit the Movement Matters Zone.
Garden Works: The Garden Works curriculum draws from elements of Science Rocks and Well Aware. Children take part in planting and maintaining parts of our beautiful on-site gardens. We plant a variety of vegetables and flowers to include carrots, pumpkins, rosemary, and sunflowers.
Growing Readers Space: Our center offers a unique space for children and families to come together and read a book. Parents will find book recommendations, reviews, and fun activities for home that will cultivate a love for reading and books with quality literature.
Art Studio: Our center has a room dedicated to enhancing the ArtSmart curriculum that is equipped with a variety of art tools. Children will study Jackson Pollack or Picasso, weave a loom, and engage in authentic art experiences to become budding masters of the arts.
