Position: Preschool Teacher
Location: Larson's Children Center in Danville, CA

Job Description:
If you are an educator who is committed to professionalism and nurturing children, we would like to meet you! We are seeking a teacher who can lead our Transitional Kindergarten classroom of 4 1/2-5 year olds in the morning and our school age children between the grades of Kindergarten to 3rd in a year round After School Program. We serve Green Valley and Vista Grande Elementary Schools.

We provide a high quality and fun program in an award winning school. You will be able to use your skills, creativity, and talents to plan enrichment activities and curriculum. In addition, you will offer homework support.

This position is full-time (9:00-6:00 p.m.)

Duties Include:
-Transitional Kindergarten curriculum implementation
-Able to drive and transport school age children to and from school
-School-Age curriculum planning and implementation
-Use of appropriate teaching and leadership strategies
-Maintaining a safe and clean environment
-Homework help
-Duties assigned for special events and summer programs

Qualifications -
Teachers--Minimum 12 units Early Childhood Education (Chid Development, Curriculum and Planning, Family and Community) and at least 1 year of experience working with children ages 5-11.
-Available from 9:00-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
-Ability to develop strong relationships with children and parents
-Able to maintain Community Licensing standards
-Must be able to pass a Live Scan clearance, Pre-employment Physical, and TB test
-CPR and First Aide Certification
-Mandated Reporter and Pesticide Training
-Current Immunizations for MMR and DTAP
