Position: Preschool Teacher
Location: Play and Learn School in Pleasant Hill, CA

Job Description:
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and loving teacher to start off working part-time, 11 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday. The position is for the school age program ages 5 - 9 years.

An individual who is highly motivated, energetic, positive, outgoing, a team player, creative, dedicated, reliable and absolutely loves children, from toddler through school age

We are licensed for 150 children and have a quality Preschool, After School and Toddler program. We believe in a hands-on curriculum where children are actively engaged in learning. Your weekly schedule would be 40 hours per week. Our school is open Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Mandatory Educational Requirements: 
12 units in EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION is required (minimum) and at least 6 months of experience working with Toddlers in a licensed child care center

3 of those units would have to be specifically in INFANT/ TODDLER CARE

You would need to get Live scan clearance and/or have your past fingerprint clearance transferred from another facility

TB test and health screening required

CPR and First Aid is required
