Position: Aftercare Teacher
Location: Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek, CA

Job Description:
The Seven Hills School, a PK-8 elementary school located in Walnut Creek, is looking for a caring,
creative, and energetic teacher to work in our Extended Day program. This position would work specifically with our Pre-School and Pre-K classroom students, you would enter their classroom at the end of their regular school day and then transition them into the after school program that you would stay with them through. Currently, the hours for this position are 1:00-4:00pm, however, the typical (pre-COVID) hours would be 1:00-6:00pm, so there is potential to move to a 5 hour shift rather than the current 3 hour shift. During your time in the after school program you will spend time running rest/nap time, snack time, and engaging in play and activities with the children.

Qualifications:
-Must have at least 12 Early Childhood Education units.
-Have current/valid Pediatric First Aid & CPR certification- if you do not have this currently, you must be willing/able to take the course shortly after employment (school will pay fees if needed).
-Prior experience working in a childcare, or after school program setting.
-Department of Justice fingerprint clearance prior to start date.
-Must pass health requirements, including TB screening, flu vaccine (or refusal note), MMR vaccine, pertussis vaccine (to be completed within 3 weeks of hiring date).
