Preschool Employment Opportunities

Position: Preschool Teacher (Fully Qualified, 12 ECE units) - 1:30-6:00 PM, Mon-Fri
Location: St Clare's Christian Preschool

Job Description:
St. Clare's Preschool is looking for a fun-loving and energetic fully-qualified preschool teacher (at least 12 core ECE units) to work 1:30 to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

We need a teacher who will enjoy spending time with children, aged 2-5 years, in the afternoon. The children are outside on the playground during much of this time, weather permitting. Applicants should enjoy guiding and extending children's gross motor play, and be able to respond to children in a warm and supportive manner. The job holder will work with 5 other fully qualified teachers during their shift.

Additional responsibilities include organizing and storing table toys for children on the playground, coaching children and monitoring bathroom usage, greeting children and their families.

Responsible for securing and closing the school at 6:00 pm with one other teacher.

Qualifications:
12 ECE units
1 year preschool teaching experience
Fluent in English
