Position: Preschool Teacher
Location: TOT DROP Preschool in Lafayette, CA

Job Description:
2-4 mornings per week at Tot Drop in Lafayette. We are a multi-aged, development preschool, where children attend by reservation. Ages 1-5 years. Different children every day, but we have a core group that comes a lot. Open 9-1, M-F.

We are looking for someone who is playful, enthusiastic, outgoing, gentle, kind, self-directed, and has a go with the flow attitude. Tot Drop is a noisy, messy, active, happy place. At Tot Drop teachers play with the children rather than simply watch. The ability to interact with the parents is vital as new families drop by almost every day. This results in there being a bit of a sales aspect to the job.

The interview consists of one hour in the room playing with the children, so we both can assess if it feel like a good fit.

If you have a toddler of your own that you would like to bring with you on the days you work, they attend for free. Your child would need to attend the interview. Not all kids can be happy with their parent in the classroom caring for other children. We need to see if it feels like the right place for your child.

Requirements:
ECE units are not required, but are certainly a plus. Experience IS REQUIRED! Only people with experience working with children, please.

Position: Substitute Teacher
Location: TOT DROP Preschool in Lafayette, CA

Job Description:
Are you kind of, sort of thinking about going back to work, but don't want to commit to too much, so not full time...not even half time, and you don't want to put your own toddler in daycare, and you don't want to have to quit the fun classes you take with your child 
and would need to be able to take days off when your child gets sick . . .
Then maybe you'd be a good fit for TOT DROP!

We're looking for someone who can sub occasionally, cover for other teacher's vacations .

Requirements: 
TB clearance, fingerprints, CPR certified, and most importantly we are searching for a kind, gentle, playful, happy, easy-going, go-with-the-flow, child at heart.
