Position: Preschool Teacher
Location: Apple Seed Little School in Lafayette, CA

Job Description:
Apple Seed Little School, a developmentally rich, play-based preschool in Lafayette, is in search of a bright, energetic and experienced educator to join our preschool teaching team. Under the guidance of the program director, our teachers work together to plan, prepare and implement an engaging curriculum and environment for preschool aged children.

We are looking for teachers who share our child-centered philosophy and who bring their own passion and dedication to the field of Early Childhood Education. For us, that means a bright, caring individual who knows how to be present and real with children, meeting them where they are at developmentally and encouraging their growth throughout each day with compassion and skilled direction.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education Units. An AA or BA degree in Early              
* Childhood Education or related field is preferred, but not required. 
* A minimum of 2-5 years experience in the field is a must. 

• You will be required prior to your start date to have completed & passed: a Criminal Background Check; Livescan Finger Printing, have a current TB test, be Childcare First Aid and CPR certified, as well as have Health and Safety Certification. Additional licensing requirements include providing a copy of your immunization records as well as providing proof of completion of the Mandated Reporter Training.
