Job Description
Holy Cross Lutheran School is seeking energetic qualified Preschool Teachers to join our amazing team! The ideal candidates for these positions will have a genuine interest in early childhood education and care. Patience, creativity, and dependability highly valued. We have an opening for a full day teaching position Monday through Friday. We also have part-time positions Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12/12:15 p.m. or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. These teaching positions start August 24, 2021.

Responsibilities:
• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• 12 ECD units required
• 1-2 years’ experience in a preschool environment preferred
